The hiring expectation for the 2013 year show a 50.9% increase in the Northwest, 41.4% in the Southeast, 47.5% in the Midwest, and 54.5% in the Western region.  These increases in hiring expectations are a huge benefit to recent and upcoming grads.

The reported industries that are working well and growing steadily in today’s economy are reported to be;

Olson reports that the top 4 hot degrees this year are; Computer/Information Science, Business Administration/Management, Accounting/Finance, and Marketing.  Therefore, if you are already pursuing a career in Business Administration or Business Management your investment is projected to pay off.  The reason employers consider this degree to be such a benefit to their organization is because this degree can be applied to so many different types of industries, and the skills taught for these degrees directly apply to the daily operations of a business.  This means less basic training for the employer and a deeper understanding of business operations from the employee.
